About MediBill Saver

MediBill Saver is self-help software for reviewing medical bills. You upload a bill; our system compares every charge against six federal data sources, surfaces patterns associated with potential billing errors, and drafts dispute letters you sign and mail. About sixty seconds, $19.97 for a single bill, 30-day money-back guarantee.
Why it exists
I built this after working through medical bills for my grandparents and my father during end-of-life care. The bills were thousands of dollars more than they should have been, the codes were unreadable, and there was no clear path to dispute anything without spending hours on the phone or hiring a credentialed billing advocate at $200 to $500 an hour.
The patterns I saw on those bills are documented in published medical-billing research. The federal datasets that show what each line item should reasonably cost are public domain and already paid for by taxpayers. The legal letters that put a 30-day clock on a written response are simple form documents with a statute citation. None of that was being made available to people in plain English at a price they could afford while standing in their kitchen with a hospital bill in their hand.
What this is
Self-help software. You upload, our system screens every line item, we draft up to five dispute letters tailored to your specific bill. You review, customize, sign, and mail.
Every charge on your bill is cross-checked against six authoritative public-data sources:
- CMS Physician Fee Schedule — Medicare's national-average reimbursement rates for ~9,500 procedure codes
- NADAC— National Average Drug Acquisition Cost (pharmacy-level acquisition prices for ~33,000 drug NDCs)
- Hospital Price Transparency files — federally-required hospital cash-pay and insurance-negotiated rates (45 CFR §180.50)
- NCCI— CMS National Correct Coding Initiative bundling rules
- CMS Hospital Compare — facility quality and patient-experience metrics
- IRS Publication 78 — 501(c)(3) charity-care eligibility lookup

What this is not
Not a law firm. The dispute letters we draft are starting templates with the relevant federal-statute citations and the math from your bill pre-filled. You review, customize for your specific situation, sign, and mail by certified mail with return receipt. We do not represent you in any legal capacity.
Not a credentialed billing advocate. Medical billing advocates handle case management, negotiate with hospitals on your behalf, and provide professional representation. That is a different service. If your case needs negotiation, legal action, or licensed counsel — hire a credentialed billing advocate or a healthcare attorney.
Not a HIPAA-covered entity. We are a consumer software product. Your bill is processed in memory during the analysis call and is not persisted to our servers. Privacy details: /privacy · security architecture: /trust.
Who built it
Solo-built. Sole developer, sole everything else for now. Not a doctor, not an attorney, not a healthcare-billing specialist by trade. The product is built on what published medical-billing research says works and on what the federal datasets directly show. The job here is to put that information in front of people in sixty seconds, in plain English, at a price they can afford.
The legal entity is LootCastPuff LLC, operating MediBill Saver as a DBA.
